PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Operation Avian: Work alongside Wildlife Vets International during the Makar Sankranti festival to rescue and rehabilitate injured birds, while learning advanced avian medicine techniques.
Wildlife SOS: Participate in caring for iconic species such as elephants, bears, and leopards. Contribute to animal welfare and conservation through hands-on experience.
Cultural Excursions: Visit iconic Indian landmarks, including the Taj Mahal and Ranthambore National Park, while soaking in India's rich history and traditions.

DAILY ACTIVITIES

Week 1: Jaipur – Operation Avian
Morning: Begin each day with avian medicine training sessions led by Wildlife Vets International. Learn techniques for treating injured birds, including handling, wound care, and rehabilitation.
Afternoon: Engage in fieldwork, including bird rescues and releases, in collaboration with RAKSHA during the kite festival.
Evening: Return to your accommodations for group discussions, reviewing the day’s cases, and enjoying local cuisine.

Week 2: Agra – Wildlife SOS
Morning: Assist in daily routines at Wildlife SOS, including feeding, habitat maintenance, and enrichment activities for rescued animals.
Afternoon: Participate in veterinary procedures such as treating injured leopards or rehabilitating elephants rescued from harsh conditions.
Evening: Attend educational talks by Wildlife SOS experts and relax with fellow participants.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES

Jhalana Leopard Safari: Spot leopards in their natural habitat during a guided safari tour.
Ranthambore National Park: Embark on a day trip to one of India’s most famous wildlife reserves, known for its Bengal tiger population.
Taj Mahal Visit: Explore the majestic beauty of this world wonder, a symbol of India’s rich history.
